Vulnerability is a strength. Imagination and looking inward, backwards and forwards help us reveal our authentic self. To share that with someone, to be accepted for being yourself, no more masking, no more hiding, is what we need to get that sense of belonging.

Explore playfulness over sensuality, offering a gentle introduction to physical intimacy in a more platonic way. You are in control and can introduce sensuality into the cards as much as you want, as long as there is consent. Explore touch in your own way.

The Wild Cards

Wild Cards from the deck of Intimacy Cards. Intimacy deck. Connection cards. Couples games.

Openness, Trust, Love, Closeness, Vulnerability and Honesty. We call them our Pillars of Intimacy. Without them, we may find ourselves lonely shells of a human. No yolk. Our Wild Cards express the importance of these pillars.

If you don’t feel ready to answer a question or to do what is requested by one of the cards, you can use a Wild Card to pass, no questions asked. You could consider them a type of “Boundary Card.” If you don’t use all of your Wild Cards in this way during your play time, you can use them at the end of the game to create your own question or activity. You can also go back to a card you really enjoyed, like a “Do Over" card.

We recognize that not everyone is ready to dive in that deep, so we advise that you stay close. Browse the Wild Cards below and consider how you relate to these pillars of intimacy.

The Intimacy Cards in the press

That’s right! You read it correctly, the Intimacy Cards were selected as the Best of Berlin by The Berliner Magazine (formerly EXBERLINER) in their epic Berlin Sex Life Survey issue. This one means a lot to me.. not only is it the first piece of press I received, but this means I’ve made an impact in the city I live in.

Conor Creighton is a meditation teacher, life coach and a best selling author. His latest book was titled ‘The Truth About Love’. Although, he'll be the first to admit he's a long way off from figuring it out. Originally from Ireland, bouncing around from Berlin to Dublin to Mallorca, you might catch one of his workshops online or in person. For him, intimacy is when you're with someone you care about, or you're just starting to care about, and you show them the parts of yourself that you don't show just anyone. It's the moment when the cute little turtle inside you pops its head out of the shell and says 'hello'.
